Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce
A Message from the President:

The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and strongest chambers in the St. Louis metropolitan region.  Throughout the years, our volunteer leadership has provided a clear strategic direction to increase promotion, support and representation of our businesses for the betterment of our members and the community.  In addition to a dedicated Board of Directors and an active and engaged membership of more than 470 businesses and individuals, our Chamber benefits from a talented and dedicated staff.

After more than 16 years of leading our Chamber as its Executive Director, Jeannie Braun will be retiring on May 25.  We hope you can join us at Jeannie’s last membership luncheon as we thank her for her commitment, vision, and most of all, friendship. The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 2 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Andre's West in Fenton - 211 S. Old Hwy 141.

As our region and community continued to grow and change during Jeannie’s tenure, she provided steady and thorough guidance to the organization and its members.  Our members benefited from continuing education and training provided through a variety of Chamber programs.  Jeannie quickly saw the need to bring together community leaders for collaboration on many projects. She helped make critical connections by relying on the strength and depth of the Chamber’s network.

Jeannie will be the last one to point out her accomplishments, but our Chamber’s many achievements can be directly attributed to her vision, planning, execution and follow-through.  Like many successful leaders, she lifts up others.  She avoids the spotlight and redirects any praise toward the Board of Directors and other volunteers throughout our membership.

We will miss Jeannie’s work ethic and positive attitude.  We look forward to seeing her occasionally as she will continue living in the area.  However, she will soon be very busy as her son and daughter-in-law in Quincy, Ill., are expecting twin boys in June.  We will expect to see many photographs of her with a grandson on each knee.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our members and all of our stakeholders throughout our region, we wish Jeannie all of the best in her retirement. We hope you will join us on Wednesday, May 2, at our luncheon so you can personally congratulate Jeannie and thank her for her years of service to the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce.
